When conversations repeat but little actually changes
In almost every context where Layers is being developed, we hear the same sentence: "We've talked about this so many times." Long meetings, careful sessions, genuine effort — and the pattern is still there.
Classic tools focus on the last conversation: what was said, who felt what, what was decided. Layers focuses on the trajectory: how repetition builds, how small shifts in tone, timing or context slowly harden into fixed roles.
That's why so much of Layers is built around structured reflection — not just recording what happens, but how it lands in people. The goal is simple: break the loop in which everything is discussed and little actually shifts.
Relational intelligence here is the ability to see the pattern between people, not only within individuals. Layers is designed as a map for exactly that space in between.
